Liverpool keeper Loris Karius's model girlfriend has word 'loser' sprayed on car

Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius's girlfriend was furious after a vandal appeared to spray-painted the word 'loser' on her luxury car.

Karius is midway through a two-year loan deal with Besiktas, who paid Liverpool an initial fee of £2.25million.

The incident comes after the German stopper revealed that he was happy to stay at Turkish side following improved form.

Posting a picture of the alleged vandalism, Sophia Thomalla captioned the snap with the words 'Na Klasse', which translates as 'no class'.

Sophia lives in Berlin, but it is not clear where the vandalism happened. The model's photo saw her receive an outpouring of kind responses, slamming the vandal's behaviour.

German actress Pia Tillmann said: "What the hell is with people?"

South African dancer Motsi Mabuse simply wrote: "Really?"

And photographer Christian Langbehn made light of the situation saying: "At least it was spelt correctly."

Karius had a nightmare during last season's Champions League final in Kiev and subsequently struggled to rebuild his reputation at Liverpool.

Eventually, he lost his status as Liverpool No 1 following the arrival of £65million Alisson Becker from Roma.

It was then decided that the German would benefit from a fresh start with Besiktas.
