Jurgen Klopp insisted Liverpool are not “losing their nerve” as he snapped back at questions over whether his side took enough risks in their 0-0 away to Everton.
His side suffered their fourth draw in six games, that has ultimately seen a seven-point lead fritter away since the new year, to finally properly fall behind Manchester City for the first time in 2019.
Questions were raised over the attacking intent of Liverpool away to Everton, and about Klopp’s substitutions, to which he snapped back.
"Do you think we didn't take enough risks today? That's a really disappointing question... Do you think it's Playstation? Bring an extra attacker, and everything change? Football is not like that.
"We don't lose our nerve, not like you obviously. A question I don't get.”
Klopp had earlier said his side “are ready” for the title challenge, and have proven they can “deliver”, while also talking about how the wind inhibited the match away to Everton.
"The wind was coming from all directions and did not help anybody."
