Liverpool Irish Festival taking place this month with packed programme of events

Liverpool Irish Festival will be coming to venues across the city this month.

Over the course of 10 days, more than 50 Irish arts and cultural events will celebrate the connections between Liverpool and Ireland. The festival includes an array of Irish artists and contributors from across the worlds of music, theatre, film, spoken word, visual arts and academia.

The festival is a celebration of Irish creativity, influence and connection. Events will be taking place from Thursday, October 20 to Sunday, October 30.

There will also be the opportunity to take part in walking tours which link the Irish community's stories of settlement in Liverpool. Some of the venues taking part in the event include the Bluecoat, Liverpool Central Library, Museum of Liverpool and the Everyman.
