Sadio Mane

Sadio Mane has been sidelined with a muscle problem sustained in the 2-1 victory at Wolves in January, missing Liverpool's trip to West Ham and home victory over Southampton.

Mane suffered a small muscle tear but has since returned to training at Melwood.

Latest update

Mane stayed on Merseyside to work on his fitness during the winter break and appeared to look fresh in videos uploaded to his Instagram account showing him in training.

Jurgen Klopp had previously said that Mane would be fine for after the winter break, and the Senegal winger is expected to be in the Liverpool manager's plans for the clash with Norwich at Carrow Road.

Expected return

Xherdan Shaqiri

Xherdan Shaqiri has suffered a disrupted season due to injury, making just 10 appearances and three starts after a number of issues.

The Swiss winger has missed Liverpool's past four games but is expected to return to contention soon.

Latest update

Klopp had previously said Shaqiri would be available following the winter break but the Swiss wasn't pictured training at Melwood.

Expected return

Klopp is expected to give an update on Shaqiri when he previews the Norwich game in his press conference on Friday.

James Milner

James Milner limped out of Liverpool's 1-0 victory over Everton in the FA Cup on January 5 with a muscle injury.

Jurgen Klopp update:

Like Mane, Milner has worked on his fitness and was pictured training with his team-mates at Melwood. He could feature in Liverpool's squad for Norwich.

Expected return:

February 15.

Nathaniel Clyne

Clyne suffered a cruciate ligament injury in pre-season.

The England international sustained the problem shortly before he was due to be substituted during the 3-2 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the Reds' opening match of their US tour in July 2019.

Klopp update:

"Clyney is in a good way but not available."

Expected return:

Unknown

Paul Glatzel

The striker suffered knee ligament damage when making his first appearance for the Liverpool first team against Tranmere Rovers in pre-season.

After undergoing surgery, Glatzel is expected to be out for the season.

Klopp update:

“Clyney and Paul Glatzel, they are obviously far away still but are making big steps as well.”

Expected return:
