Jurgen Klopp should be able to welcome Adam Lallana back into his squad when Liverpool take on rivals Everton at Anfield on Sunday.
The Englishman has not been seen since the international break after sustaining a minor muscle issue, but has returned to training this week and looks likely to be available to take a place in the squad.
However, Klopp faces a nervous wait on a number of players who picked up slight knocks during the midweek defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the German said: “The squad situation, I am not 100 per cent sure at the moment.
“It was quite an intense game, we had a lot of knocks and we have to see. It’s good that we have this one day more, if it was Wednesday-Saturday that would be really difficult.”
The Reds boss knows he will be without captain Jordan Henderson, who will serve a one-match suspension after receiving a red card at Watford last weekend.
Divock Origi and Dominic Solanke are also doubts to feature against the Toffees after missing the trip to Paris through illness and a groin injury respectively.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains sidelined.
