Liverpool injury, suspension list: Team news for Champions League match vs PSG

Sadio Mane is available for Liverpool’s trip to face Paris Saint-Germain after overcoming an illness scare.

The 26-year-old was a doubt for Wednesday's Champions League meeting with the Ligue 1 champions after taking ill on Monday.

However, he recovered sufficiently to take part in Tuesday's training session at Melwood, and will join his teammates in travelling to the French capital this afternoon.

Meanwhile, defender Joe Gomez is expected to be fit after missing out with an ankle problem for Liverpool at Watford.

Dejan Lovren came in for the visitors as captain Jordan Henderson returned in midfielder with Fabinho dropping to the bench.

“In the last second of [Friday's] session, [Gomez] got a little knock,” said Jurgen Klopp.

“We thought: ‘Come on, let’s bring him and have a look in the morning.’ He said it was 80 per cent better, that’s good. So he’s no doubt for Wednesday.

“But we had Trent and Dejan at 100 per cent, so we didn’t have to make a decision. It was clear he could be rested and can recover more, and then he is ready for Wednesday again.”
