However, the Reds are focused on something completely different - lifting their first-ever Premier League title - and despite no supporters being allowed inside Anfield, the Grounds Safety Advisory Group has announced a boost for the squad.
The GSAG will allow players’ family members to attend the match to watch the trophy lifted in the Kop stand after the game.
300 people are allowed into a stadium at once under new guidelines amid the coronavirus pandemic, and Liverpool’s request to have more people inside the ground was initially rejected.
But, per to the Liverpool Echo, the decision has now been overturned, meaning families and some football staff will be allowed to attend the trophy lift.
Chelsea know that a victory at the league champions would be enough to secure Champions League football for Frank Lampard’s side next season.
But if the Blues were to be beaten, it wouldn’t be the end of the road, as they host Wolves on Sunday for their final match of the campaign.
With top four rivals, Manchester United and Leicester City, facing each other on the last game of the season, the Blues will want to secure their place in the European elite as soon as possible.
