Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has provided yet another update on his return from injury.
The Reds skipper has been sidelined with a groin injury since the end of February, and has gradually been building up his fitness.
Henderson sustained the injury in Liverpool’s defeat in the Merseyside derby, and has been absent ever since.
The 30-year-old has recently been posting updates on his social media to let fans know of his progress.
The midfielder has posted videos in the gym as well as with a club physio on the training pitch alone, but his latest update seems to show he’s made good progress.
With a post on Twitter, Henderson has tweeted a picture of him back in training with the rest of the squad.
Henderson also accompanied the pictures with the caption: “It’s been a good day! So happy to be back with the lads.”
While Henderson may be back training with the rest of the squad, it does not mean that he will be in line to feature in the final league game of the season against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Jurgen Klopp has previously ruled his captain out for the remainder of the campaign, but the latest update will be a good sign for his hopes of being selected for the England squad at this summer’s European Championships.
