Takumi Minamino admits Liverpool 'frustration' and reveals Jurgen Klopp reaction
Takumi Minamino scored a dramatic equaliser against Leicester City in the Carabao Cup to send Liverpool through to the semi-finals on Wednesday night.
His impressive finish in the 95th minute sparked ecstatic scenes at Anfield, before Caoimhin Kelleher and Diogo Jota proved to be the heroes during the penalty shootout.
Minamino has played every minute of Liverpool’s cup run so far, with his last-gasp strike against the Foxes taking his total to four goals in three games, plus an assist.
Though the 26-year-old discussed how the Carabao Cup had given him a 'great opportunity' to impress Jurgen Klopp, the Japan international also admitted the frustrations that come from being a squad player.

Andy Robertson suffers fresh Liverpool blow after Leeds United postponement
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has already been handed a fresh selection issue for his side’s clash with Chelsea next month.
The Reds confirmed on Thursday that their Boxing Day trip to Elland Road has been postponed due to the number of covid-19 cases within the Leeds United camp.
However, this means that Andy Robertson will now miss Liverpool’s visit to Stamford Bridge on January 2 as part of his three-game suspension.
Robertson served the first match of his ban on Wednesday and was initially ruled out of the league games against Leeds and Leicester later this month. But the postponement means the Scotland captain will instead be unavailable against Thomas Tuchel’s side.
