Liverpool have tied down promising goalkeeper Jakub Ojrzynski to a new long-term contract.
The ECHO understands that the 18-year-old has put pen to paper on fresh terms just over a year on from signing his first professional deal.
And the Reds are set to confirm the news in an official announcement in the coming days.
Ojrzynski has been part of Liverpool's academy since he was signed from Legia Warsaw in the summer of 2019.
He was immediately given a chance to chance to impress Jurgen Klopp, taking his place in the first-team squad for that year's pre-season tour of the United States.
Since then, the teenager has largely featured for the club's U18s side, though he took the step up to the U23s and Premier League 2 toward the back end of last season.
Ojrzynski also made his first appearance in a senior squad last term as Liverpool's injury crisis spread to the goalkeeping department last term.
With Alisson Becker and Caoimhin Kelleher both out of action, the Pole was named on the bench as the Reds claimed a 2-0 win at Sheffield United in February.
He has, though, yet to get on the pitch for Klopp's first-team.
Ojrzynski will now hope to build on his early experiences in the coming seasons after signing a new deal that, according to reports in his native Poland, is four years in length.
