Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara reacts to Jack Butland transfer speculation

Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara has laughed off rumours of Jurgen Klopp signing Stoke City star Jack Butland this month.

Grabara, 21, joined Danish outfit Aarhus on loan earlier in the transfer window after a spell in the Championship with Huddersfield Town last season.

Liverpool have since been linked with an emergency move for the out-of-favour Butland following an injury lay-off to number one Alisson and 7-2 defeat at Aston Villa in which backup Adrian was at fault for the opening goal.

The Mail on Sunday chief sports writer Ollie Holt said on Twitter: "Butland to Liverpool: great move for player and club if it happens" and Grabara responded with a laughing face emoji.

The ECHO understands Liverpool are not in talks with Stoke over a move for Butland. They completed the signing of 17-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga this week.
