Liverpool get Premier League title boost as key pair return to training

Liverpool pair Mohamed Salah and Fabinho have returned to training ahead of Friday's game at home to Huddersfield .

Having been named as one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world, Salah was given permission by manager Jurgen Klopp to miss Wednesday's session and head to the Time 100 Gala in New York, where he rubbed shoulders with celebrities including Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke and Oscar winning actor Rami Malek .

The Egyptian is now back on Merseyside and looking to keep up his impressive recent form which has featured three goals in his last five games in all competitions.

Brazilian midfielder Fabinho was also back in the session on Thursday having been given time off following a clash of heads in last Sunday's 2-0 win at Cardiff .

The former Monaco man had only just entered the field as a substitute for Naby Keita, but was then almost instantly replaced by James Milner as a precaution following the blow.

The pair could both feature in the game against the already relegated Terriers, in which a win would take Liverpool back to the top of the table prior to Manchester City's trip to Burnley on Sunday.
