Liverpool winger Sadio Mane has reportedly shown incredible generosity to his native Senegal amid the coronavirus outbreak which is taking the world by storm.

Jurgen Klopp's side are currently self-isolating as a precaution with the Premier League suspended until next month.

The 27-year-old forward, who is no stranger to giving back to his native country, has reportedly donated a sizable amount to help aid the fight against the virus in his homeland.

Reports are suggesting the forward has donated €45,000 amid the pandemic.

Mane also had a clear message for his compatriots on the seriousness of COVID-19.

In a video which appeared to social media the Reds goalscorer urged people in Senegal to wash and disinfect their hands to prevent the virus from spreading.

Liverpool, who are two wins away from winning the Premier League title, are unlikely to return to action until at least April.
