It is no secret that Liverpool are in need of reinforcements this summer after a below-par campaign resulted in a fifth-placed finish.
Alexis Mac Allister has already arrived at Anfield from Brighton, though Jurgen Klopp will be keen to bring further players to the club before pre-season preparations commence at the start of July. It remains to be seen just who is recruited by the club, with Liverpool are being linked with a whole host of names.
Midfield is a priority position for the Reds after bidding farewell to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner and Naby Keita this summer, increasing the need for additions to the squad.
Klopp will be fully aware of the weakness of weakness that require addressing and will be eager to bolster the number of options available to him ahead of the 2023/24 campaign. Below is a round-up of the latest rumours relating to the Reds.

Chiesa move mooted
Liverpool are said to be keen on a deal to sign Juventus winger, Federico Chiesa.
The Euro 2020 winner made a total of 33 appearances in all competitions last term, having made his comeback from a long-term ACL injury.
The Premier League is believed to be an 'interesting destination' for the Italian star and Liverpool are hopeful of 'convincing' Chiesa to make the move to Anfield. That's according to El Nacional, who add Jurgen Klopp has asked the Reds board to pay €60million (£51.3m) in order to strike a deal.
Arthur linked with Premier League return
Arthur Melo is attracting interest from two Premier League sides, according to a latest report. The Brazilian made only one appearance for Liverpool during his season-long loan spell at Anfield and has now returned to parent club, Juventus.
Potentially heading back to the top division of English football, however, an Italian outlet has suggested both Aston Villa and Newcastle are interested in Arthur. Juventus would be 'satisfied' with loaning the player out for a second successive season.
The 26-year-old still has two years remaining on his current at Juventus, which is set to expire during the summer of 2025.
Ward-Prowse and Mount off the table
Mason Mount is no longer believed to be a target for Liverpool. The Reds were strongly linked with a move for the Chelsea midfielder last month, though Manchester United now appear to be in pole position to strike a deal.
Making clear Jurgen Klopp's side have withdrawn from the race to recruit the England international, the Athletic have stated Chelsea's £70million valuation of the 24-year-old was deemed 'vastly excessive'.
Elsewhere, the above report adds Southampton's James Ward-Prowse is another individual not under consideration. The Daily Mail recently suggested the Reds were 'prepared to play the waiting game' with the set-piece specialist, but were only prepare to pay half of the Saints' £50m asking price.
