There is little rest for Liverpool's victorious Champions League stars this summer as they face a busy pre-season schedule.
Jurgen Klopp led the Anfield club to their sixth European Cup triumph on June 1, with goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi downing Tottenham 2-0 in the Madrid final.
Lifting the famous trophy was the perfect tonic to seeing Manchester City pip them to the Premier League title by a single point, and Klopp's men will be determined to make a strong start to the campaign.
Liverpool currently have seven pre-season friendlies on their schedule along with the obligatory Community Shield face-off against Man City.
Klopp will be without the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Naby Keita as they compete for the Africa Cup of Nations, but that will allow a few other eager players to stake a claim for an early-season role.
