Liverpool FC XI vs Crystal Palace: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, latest injury updates today

Liverpool today know one more win will guarantee Champions League football next season after a difficult Premier League title defence.

While Liverpool may have seen Manchester City dethrone them with remarkable ease following an injury-plagued campaign, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds can still end 2020/21 on a high.

With Leicester City losing 2-1 at Chelsea on Tuesday, Liverpool capitalised with a 3-0 win at Burnley on Wednesday to leapfrog the Foxes into fourth on goal difference.

Liverpool face Crystal Palace on Sunday, and as long as they match Leicester’s result against Tottenham, they will finish fourth - at the very least.

Palace will want to send off departing manager Roy Hodgson with a win at Anfield, so Liverpool can expect a tough contest - but it is one they will be confident of winning.

Klopp doesn’t deviate too far from the starting lineup he named at Turf Moor,.

Nat Phillips was imperious against Burnley and will lead the defence with Rhys Williams again, while further ahead, Mohamed Salah is chasing the Golden Boot and partners Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino with Diogo Jota on the bench.
