Liverpool FC suffer huge injury blow amid Man City Premier League title fight

Manchester City have the clear advantage in the Premier League title race as they know winning their remaining games against Leicester City and Brighton will ensure a league repeat.

But now Liverpool have been handed a huge blow thanks to a seemingly serious injury for Mohamed Salah. The Liverpool striker had put the Reds 2-1 in front before half-time at Newcastle United before the Magpies equalised.

Ahead of the final stages in the match, Liverpool lost Salah to injury as the Egyptian was stretched off the field at St James' Park.

Salah collided with Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka and was left prone on the turf. He was conscious but clearly looked in discomfort.

This now not only leaves Liverpool in a tough situation in regards to their semi-final second leg at home to Barcelona, it means they may even be without the talented forward for their final match of the league season at home to Wolves next Sunday.
