Liverpool FC star Mo Salah's shirtless GQ cover shoot after winning Man of the Year

Liverpool FC's Mo Salah has graced the cover of men's magazine GQ after scooping their Man of the Year award.

The 27-year-old picked up the accolade earlier this week alongside fellow cover star Victoria Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio who won Fashion Icon.

Salah's shirtless pictures accompany an interview with the dad-of-one.

"It’s the kind of pressure that can make or break a man…but this much we know: Salah won’t be stopped.

"That's why he's our Man of The Year."

Commenting on the award and his key to success, Salah said: "The biggest thing that helped me throughout my career is that I always want to learn. If you want to succeed you have to be willing to learn everything."

In an exclusive interview with GQ he spoke about his pre-match routine, he said: "I try to visualise the game each time. I think about the whole thing ahead of the match. Once you’re in the game it’s easier after that – it's like you’ve played it already."

Behind the scenes of Salah's GQ Middle East cover shoot

This is not the first time the Liverpool striker has posed for GQ, turning his hand to modelling for the mag in December last year.

The shoot apparently sparked some debate on GQ's Instagram account with many saying it was "impossible" to look that good and he must have been photoshopped.

The magazine confirmed it wasn't photoshopped, and Salah just does look that good.

Salah shared a video of his special photo shoot on Instagram, which shows him donning several expensive garments.

The shoot sees Salah wearing brands including Cartier, Burberry, Off-White, Prada, Stone Island, Dunhill, Y-3 and Ermeneglido Zegna.

Talking about why the Egyptian won Man of the Year, GQ said: "Each time he steps on a pitch, Mohamed Salah balances the expectations of a nation – and one of the world’s most famous football clubs.
