Liverpool FC squad arrive before Manchester United fixture

Liverpool's squad arrived at their city centre hotel last night (Saturday) ahead of the Sunday afternoon showdown with Manchester United.

Jurgen Klopp could well have some key players back for the derby at Anfield, with Joel Matip spotted by photographers checking into the Hope Street Hotel. Fabinho is likely to be in the squad for the game, too, having recovered from an ankle injury.

James Milner, Dejan Lovren and Naby Keita are all sidelined. Star men Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane and Trent Alexander-Arnold were all spotted and should start the game.

While Liverpool stayed in their usual location for home games, United opted not to travel to Merseyside the night before the away fixture as they often do.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad will instead travel to Liverpool today (Sunday) after staying the night at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester.

It's likely that United will  be without key forward Marcus Rashford for the game. He hobbled off with a back injury during United's 1-0 FA Cup third round replay win over Wolves in midweek.
