Liverpool FC's Mo Salah 'tries his hardest to look scary' in Halloween costume

Liverpool star Mo Salah has shared a spooky snap to celebrate Halloween.

Reds forward Mo took to Instagram to share a picture of him with some huge fake spiders.

Dad-of-one Mo wore a black roll neck jumper as he grimaced into the camera and held the large spiders in his hands.

He captioned the photo: "Trying my hardest to look scary."

And fans were quick to comment on his latest look.

adamg_001 said: "You just look hilarious."

ahcher said: "Haha you failed on this task! Never look scary.. way to nice and gentle."

btrue24 said: "Just score goals that’s scary enough."

And dorkyasm said: "THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU."

Earlier this year Mo raised eyebrows as he dressed up for his daughter Makka's fifth birthday party.

Wearing only a leaf skirt, Salah had his broad chest on show, while he wore a floral garland round his neck.

He also wore a belt made out of flowers, and was holding a luminous green toy sword.

Little Makka looked adorable in a Hawaiian costume with a straw skirt and gold sandals.

In the photos, pink balloons surround Salah's living room, while a 'happy birthday' banner lies on the couch.

Salah also presented his daughter, who he shares with wife Magi, a rainbow birthday cake, which she looked delighted with.

Captioning the cute post, Salah said: "I, Maui, bring to you Moana! Happy birthday my princess. #Birthday #AmazingFather."

Within five minutes of the post being published, it had already received over 100,000 likes along with many birthday wishes for Makka.
