Liverpool FC's Jurgen Klopp finds new football team while out walking his dog

Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp found time to chat with a group of schoolboy footballers while out walking his dog in Formby.

Klopp, who celebrated his 17th straight Premier League win yesterday, was out walking the dog this morning when he bumped into the boys from Formby community football club.

The grassroots club, based at Deangate Lane playing fields, appears to be on Klopp's regular dog walk route.

The club's manager John Bauer praised the Liverpool manager for his generosity of spirit. He said to the ECHO : “He was there walking his dog and then the kids all mobbed him for photos, It was great.”

Klopp, who lives in the area, is well known for his congenial manner with well wishers.

Formby community football club offers match time to boys, girls, men and women. For more information on the club go here.
