Liverpool FC players Fabinho and Firmino enjoy tapas at city centre restaurant

A city centre restaurant welcomed Liverpool FC footballers Fabinho and Firmino last night (Monday, September 23).

Alma De Cuba on Seel Street, welcomed the Liverpool FC players who dined on a range of tapas dishes from its news menu.

Proud to have served the pair, Chef Chris Walsh posted a photograph with them both on Twitter and said: “Just cooked for Bobby and Fabinho” - sending his followers crazy.

The tweet has received more than 4,000 likes and hundreds of retweets from Reds fans already.

Twitter users have replied to the photo, with one saying: “Wow lucky you” and another added: “Good man keep them well filled and happy and they will keep on scoring.”

Gary Brunt, general manager of Alma De Cuba, said: “Alma De Cuba regularly attracts big name football stars but it was extra special to have the boys in last night as they were the first to sample our new menu.

“Chef cooked up a storm from the new tapas menu and they really enjoyed it.”

Alma De Cuba is no stranger to celebrity guests, having hosted Wayne and Colleen Rooney for Christmas dinner last year and counts Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp as a regular customer.

This isn't the first time both Fabino or Firmino have been spotted at a Liverpool restaurant. Macello Meathouse based on Childwall Abbey Road regularly shares photographs of the players.
