Liverpool FC legend Steven Gerrard asked if he prefers Manchester United or Everton

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard admitted that he couldn't choose between Manchester United or Everton when asked which club he prefers.

The former midfield star, turned Rangers manager, compared the dilemma to choosing which Kardashian sister he liked best.

Gerrard grew up a lifelong Liverpool fan and played almost his entire career at the Anfield club, a 17-year spell in the first team before finishing with a season in MLS with LA Galaxy.

And in an interview with former Liverpool teammate Peter Crouch for their Amazon Prime Show Back of the Net, Gerrard answered a number of quickfire questions.

When asked: “Beating Everton or beating Manchester United?” by Crouch, Gerrard replies: “That's like... that's like which one of the Kardashians that!

"I can't... Err.. I hate both of them yeah.”

The answer will come as little surprise to either United or Everton fans, who enjoyed a healthy rivalry with Gerrard down the years. The former England midfielder and Liverpool captain was sent off after just 38 seconds in his final game against United in 2015 for a stamp on Ander Herrera.

He won two FA Cups, three League Cups, one UEFA Cup and one Champions League title in his career, but never lifted the Premier League.
