Former Liverpool FC star John Barnes has been banned from driving after being caught speeding in Cheshire.
The 58-year-old TV pundit, who spent 10 seasons at Anfield, was clocked on the A540 Chester High Road on April 7 doing more than the 40mph limit in a BMW.
The former Tranmere Rovers manager had been travelling at 47mph in the 40mph zone that runs between Gordale Garden Centre and the junction with the B5135 that leads down to Parkgate.

The court also heard that Barnes' driving licence had expired at the time of the offence earlier this year.
Appearing in Chester Magistrates' Court on Monday, November 22 , Barnes, who lives in Heswall, Wirral, was also fined £750 and told to pay prosecution costs of £110 and a £75 victim surcharge.
There was no separate penalty for driving with an expired licence.
Barnes, who earned 79 international caps for England, was banned from driving for six months, with the disqualification being obligatory due to his repeat offending.
The Jamaican-born football personality was previously handed a driving ban back in September 2015 after he was caught speeding for the fourth time.
On that occasion, Barnes’ Vauxhall was caught by a speed camera travelling at 66mph in a 50mph stretch of the M56 eastbound.
