Liverpool FC launches new clothing range for Pride Month

Liverpool FC has launched a new clothing range as it reveals plans to participate in the city's annual Pride march.

The club has launched a range of t-shirts and caps modelled by members of the Liverpool FC LGBT+ fan group 'Kop Outs'.

The theme of the range is 'Come as you are' and includes t-shirts adorned with the club's motto 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and the famous Liver Bird badge.

Caps also include the rainbow-coloured motif and all items are available to buy now in time for the Pride march from the Liverpool FC online store.

Dave Merchant, a member of Kop Outs, said: “Seeing LFC flying the rainbow flag makes me even prouder to be a fan of this incredible club.”

The range is a collaboration with Boston-based sport brand '47 and is not the first time the club has teamed up with the US company. In 2016 a range of caps were released as part of a partnership between the club and the brand.

Boston is the home of the Red Sox baseball team, which is owned by Liverpool owner John Henry. The club will play a friendly match in Boston this summer in a further tie between the two cities.

The new range of T-shirts are priced at £28 and caps are priced at £22.50.

Liverpool FC will also be taking place in the Pride march in Liverpool which takes place on Saturday 27 July. The march is part of a wider Pride in Liverpool festival taking place on Tithebarn Street in the city's Gay Quarter on 27 and 28 July.
