Liverpool FC handed double injury blow ahead of Crystal Palace fixture in Man City Premier League title race

Liverpool could be without both Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson for their visit to Crystal Palace after the international break.

Jurgen Klopp's men sit eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table following the win against Manchester City on Sunday.

They face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park following the conclusion of the international fixtures, a stadium which has had a massive impact on title races in the past.

Liverpool Echo report both Salah and Robertson are injury doubts for the trip.

The Egyptian winger picked up an ankle problem against Leicester back in October and aggravated the issue against City following a challenge from Fernandinho in the first half.

Robertson withdrew from international duty after leaving Anfield with a heavily swollen ankle. The Scotland skipper won't feature in the fixtures against Cyprus and Kazakhstan. He will be assessed after returning to Merseyside.

Manchester City will be looking to close the gap to their rivals when they welcome Chelsea to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, November 23.

Liverpool play two hours earlier than the Blues meaning Pep Guardiola's men will be well aware if there is an opportunity to reduce the points deficit.

City have won five of their last six fixtures against the London side in all competitions.
