Liverpool FC fans furious after Gabriel Jesus goal for Man City vs Crystal Palace

Manchester City kept the pressure on Liverpool in the Premier League title race with a 3-1 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.

City headed into the game at Selhurst Park knowing a win would move them back above Liverpool ahead of the Reds' clash with Chelsea immediately after.

And a Raheem Sterling double sent Pep Guardiola's men on the way to another win in the title race, before Luka Milivojevic's late free kick set up a nervy ending.

With Palace sensing an equaliser, City broke forward and sealed the win through Gabriel Jesus' 90th minute strike. However, replays showed the Brazilian was marginally offside when the ball was played to him from Kevin de Bruyne.

Even though City would still have had to concede without that goal to drop points, the decision did not go down well on Merseyside as Liverpool fans felt the goal was another decision that went against them in the title race.

Fans predictably took to Twitter to complain of conspiracy theories and double standards.

It's a conspiracy

Clear double standards...

Stop complaining

No-one will mention it

Where is the outrage?

It's not cheating though...
