Liverpool FC fans appear to make Premier League title confession after Man City beat Leicester

Liverpool fans appear to be planning for next season after Manchester City beat Leicester on Monday night.

Vincent Kompany's rocket secured a vital three points for City that moves Pep Guardiola's men a point above Liverpool with one game remaining. City travel to Brighton, while Liverpool host Wolves on Sunday.

A win for Liverpool would see them finish the season on 97 points - their highest ever total in the Premier League - but three points for City will earn them the title regardless of Liverpool's result.

In fact, only City have won more points in a season than Liverpool's possible total when they won 100 points last season. A win against Brighton will see them tally 98.

And Liverpool fans appeared to concede that their chances of winning their first Premier League title were all but over, barring a shock defeat for City on the South Coast.

Now, their attention seems to be turning to next season, and how to beat a team with as much quality and resources as City.
