Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp questions Man City's Premier League campaign

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is adamant the Premier League title race isn't over but is confident that Manchester City will drop more points during the tussle at the top.

Liverpool opened up an eight-point advantage prior to the international break after a 3-1 victory at Anfield, putting themselves in the driving seat to win their first league title in three decades.

While Liverpool do boast a significant margin, Klopp believes there is still plenty of twists and turns ahead but adds that he does not anticipate facing pressure to win every game.

Despite a fierce battle last season that saw both sides embark on lengthy winning streaks, Klopp expects things to be different this season and believes City will drop points, along with the rest of the chasing pack.

“The difference is not too big to last season. I know people will get nervous. Everybody thinks we need to win all the games otherwise they will catch us. But in those moments when people imagine that, they think the other teams won’t drop any more points themselves," he told the Athletic .

“Last season City didn’t lose any games anymore when we were both fighting for the title. But that doesn’t mean it will be like this again. Last season was very helpful for the future of all of us. We were completely concentrated on a specific game. We knew we had to win it.
