Liverpool fantasy football decision leaves fans fuming after Trent Alexander-Arnold goal

Liverpool secured an important 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, beating Frank Lampard's Chelsea side thanks to goals from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmino, with N'Golo Kante also finding the net in the second-half.

The win means Liverpool have now won their last 15 consecutive Premier League matches and remain the only team with a 100% record in the Premier League this season, winning 18 points from a possible 18 available, sitting in 1st position in the table.

Alexander-Arnold played a key role in the Reds win , scoring a sublime opening goal in the 14th minute to give Jurgen Klopp's side an early lead.

With Liverpool awarded a free-kick just outside the Chelsea penalty area, Mohamed Salah rolled the ball across for the youngster, who then produced a brilliant curling effort that flew past Kepa Arrizabalaga, with the Spaniard having no chance of keeping it out.

But, the 20-year-old was also a strong performer throughout the game , offering a good passing option and was a constant threat with crosses from the fight, who also played well defensively to keep Chelsea at bay in the second-half.

However, when the Fantasy Premier League announced the bonus points awarded for the Chelsea vs Liverpool game, Alexander-Arnold was not included in the bonus list.

Kante and Firmino both scored, with Robertson also getting an assist, but Alexander-Arnold missed out, despite scoring a fabulous goal in the first-half of the match.

As you would expect, fans who had Alexander-Arnold in their FPL team were not happy with their decision, and made their feelings known on Twitter.

Do you think Alexander-Arnold should have got at least one bonus point for his performance and wonder goal?
