Liverpool fans won't believe what West Ham's Karren Brady has said about the end of the season

West Ham chief Karren Brady has said that the season should be null and void in the light of the Coronavirus outbreak.

The Premier League announced on Friday that the league will be postponed until at least April 4th following the outbreak of COVID-19, with it being unsure over how the season will be concluded.

The decision to postpone games was made after both Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta and Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi tested positive for the virus.

One suggestion is that the season should be void, although that won't go down well with Liverpool fans with the Reds well on track to win their first first division title in 30 years.

West Ham fans protest against club's owners

But Brady believes that writing the season off is the only option.

"As games in both the PL and in the EFL are affected, the only fair and reasonable thing to do is declare the whole season null and void," she wrote in her article in the Sun .

"Who knows who would have gone down or come up if the games have not actually been played in full?

"A huge blow to Liverpool who might be robbed of their first title in 30 years.

"This will be discussed between the PL and the clubs next week at an emergency meeting."

West Ham are in 16th place in the table, and are outside the relegation zone on goal difference after a disappointing season under David Moyes.
