Liverpool fans will love Jamie Carragher's reaction to Adam Lallana goal against Manchester United

Jamie Carragher simply couldn't help himself after Liverpool's late equaliser against Manchester United at Old Trafford ( watch video below ).

The Reds maintained their unbeaten start to the season after Adam Lallana struck four minutes from time to earn his side a point.

Coming into the game on the back of eight straight wins in the Premier League, Jurgen Klopp's side fell behind when Marcus Rashford controversially side footed Daniel James' cross home on 36 minutes.

The goal was only given following a VAR review, after replays showed Divock Origi had been fouled by Victor Lindelof in the build-up.

Referee Martin Atkinson immediately signalled for a VAR review once the ball hit the back of the net.

But David Coote, reviewing the incident at Stockley Park, felt that the tackle wasn't severe enough to be given as a free-kick.

But the Reds hit back four minutes from time through substitute Lallana, who was in the right place at the right time to slot home at the far post after Andy Robertson’s cross had ran all the way through.

The goal was the midfielder's first for Liverpool since they qualified for the Champions League on the final day of the 2016/17 season after beating Middlesbrough.

And following the goal, Carragher -  who was commentating on the game for Sky Sports alongside former United defender Gary Neville and broadcaster Martin Tyler - looked straight down the camera before making pulling a funny face and pretending to throw punches.

Whilst Neville in contrast, simply slumped to his seat before taking a sip of water.

The draw leaves Liverpool six points clear at the top of the table, with Tottenham Hotspur up next for Klopp's side in the league next weekend.
