Liverpool fans have been having their say on whether Kalvin Phillips would be a good replacement for Jordan Henderson.
The Leeds United star was touted as a potential replacement for the Anfield captain by BBC pundit Garth Crooks, who included Phillips in his team of the week on the strength of his display in the win over Everton.
Phillips has impressed during his first season in the Premier League, winning a maiden England call-up as well as plenty of praise from neutrals.
The prospect of the 25-year-old replacing Henderson has caused a stir among Liverpool fans - some of whom are keen to see it happen.
BBC pundit Crooks was full of praise for how Phillips has adapted to the Premier League, pointing to how the Whites missed him during a recent injury absence, which saw his side suffer back-to-back 4-1 defeats.
Crooks said: "Leeds missed Kalvin Phillips against Leicester and Crystal Palace, but not against Everton.
"The England international is making a name for himself and was far too sharp for the Toffees.
"This kid reminds me of a young Bryan Robson when the former Manchester United and England captain played for West Brom.
"Phillips can cover the ground, he's not afraid to stick his foot in, and sees the pass.
"He doesn't immediately grab your attention but given time you begin to realise the enormous contribution he's making to the game.
"I think he's the perfect replacement for Jordan Henderson and I don't mean just for England."
Phillips has made seven appearances in the Premier League for Leeds so far this season under Marcelo Bielsa.
