Liverpool fans think they've spotted what Andy Robertson said after controversial Sadio Mane booking

Liverpool fans have all been reacting to what Andy Robertson did after Sadio Mane was booked in the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup final against Flamengo.

Mane was booked as Liverpool counter attacked with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in what was a poor decision by the referee.

The Liverpool forward was merely reacting to being held back in that moment by Rafinha, who was clinging onto the Senegal international.

The incident happened during a frustrating first half in Qatar as the Reds were held at the break by the Brazilian side as both bid to become world champions.

Whilst it may be debatable who was in control in the first half, there is no doubting the indifferent officiating.

It's safe to say it got under the skin of Mane a little, hence the shove, but left-back Andy Robertson was quick onto the scene after the incident to let Mane know that he had his back.

Liverpool fans have suggested that Robertson said in the aftermath: "I'll get him, don't worry!"

This type of ferocious yet sly approach has been a common theme from Robertson this season as he continues to step into somewhat of an enforcer role.

Meanwhile, Liverpool fans had plenty of criticism for the officials during the contest.
