Liverpool fans share thoughts on Jurgen Klopp's Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota conundrum

Liverpool are back in action in the Champions League this evening as they tackle Atalanta in the Champions League, where they're looking to make it five wins in a row in all competitions.

Following the 2-2 draw against Everton in the Merseyside derby, Jurgen Klopp's side have seen off Ajax, Sheffield United, Midtjylland and West Ham.

Three wins from three on the European stage would put Liverpool in a commanding position in the group stage as they look to secure their spot in the knockout stages of the competition.

While there have been problems defensively with Virgil van Dijk facing an extended stint on the sidelines through injury, there have been no such problems at the other end.

The sensational trio of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have been provided with additional competition this season, following the capture of Diogo Jota.

Since his capture from Wolves, the Portugal international has scored four goals in his first eight appearances for the club - including the winner against West Ham at the weekend.

That has seen Jota push for a regular starting berth in the side and Firmino, with just one goal this season, would be the most likely candidate to drop out.

However, the Brazilian's importance to Liverpool has never just been about his contribution in front of goal and, as a result, Klopp has a tough call to make.

We asked fans on social media who they would start against Atalanta and there were plenty of responses, which you can see a selection of above.
