Liverpool fans share hilarious WhatsApp theory after Adam Lallana revelation

Liverpool fans are adamant James Milner is the admin on the players' WhatsApp group after Adam Lallana revealed he was thrown out just a day after leaving the club.

The Englishman left Anfield after five years on a free transfer, joining Brighton & Hove Albion after his contract had expired.

Lallana has been full of praise for Jurgen Klopp when speaking to the media about his departure and appeared as pundit for BT Sport for their coverage of Liverpool's Champions League clash with FC Midtjylland at Anfield.

Amongst other serious topics, where Lallana provided incredible insight on the creation of the Premier League champions, the 32-year-old was quizzed on whether he still keep in touch with his former teammates.

Lallana then revealed that he was chucked out of their official WhatsApp group only a day after leaving, although he remains in contact with some Liverpool players.

“It was the right time for me to leave," he told BT.

"I’ve found my new challenge really refreshing, so I’ve gone from a player to a supporter now.

“You get chucked out (of the WhatsApp group)! I’m still in a couple of groups but the admin chucked me out the day after.”

Unsurprisingly, Liverpool fans have voiced their theories over who the admin could be, with most opting for Milner over captain Jordan Henderson.

Lallana is set to return to Anfield on February 3 with Brighton, where he will be hopefully be met by some reception should supporters be allowed back into stadiums in the new year.

Meanwhile, Liverpool secured an important win over FC Midtjylland this evening as they picked up all three points in the Champions League tie at Anfield. Diogo Jota opened the scoring in the second half before Mohamed Salah added an injury-time penalty.
