Liverpool fans serenade Diogo Jota with new chant after late victory at Wolves

Diogo Jota has quickly become a fan-favourite since moving from Wolves to Liverpool in the summer of 2020.

The reported fee of around £40 million raised eyebrows among Liverpool fans but Jota has taken his game to another level under the guidance of Jurgen Klopp and has been rewarded with a song by the Reds fans.

Jota missed a sitter in the 1-0 win over his former side but his blushes were saved by Divock Origi when he came off the bench to score the winner in the 94th minute.

With eight goals already in the Premier League this campaign, Jota has become a driving force in the Liverpool side and has filled in brilliantly for the injured Roberto Firmino.

On the coach home from Molineux, the Liverpool fans sang to the tune of the old Fernando Torres ‘bounce’ song: “He’s Portuguese Jota, Jota. He gets the ball, he’s scores again Jota, Jota.

“He’s f****** boss, he’s hard to mark, he took the p*** at Goodison Park. Diogo Jota plays for Liverpool.”
