Liverpool fans have urged Lyon forward Memphis Depay to join the Reds this summer.
The former Manchester United player was inundated with messages requesting he should make a return to the Premier League.
And according to reports in France, Liverpool scouts were in attendance last Sunday as Depay's Lyon defeated Marseille 3-0.
These requests from fans were also in response to the kind message the Dutch international sent to compatriot Gini Wijnaldum.
In a post to social media on Thursday the 25-year-old shared a picture with the midfielder from their time at PSV Eindhoven.

One fan wrote: "Come to Liverpool already."
