Liverpool fans send message to Michael Edwards over possible Taiwo Awoniyi transfer deal

Liverpool could be set to sell forward Taiwo Awoniyi during the current transfer window.

The 21-year-old has emerged as a target for CSKA Moscow despite not yet making his debut for the Reds due to work permit issues.

Awoniyi has spent time away from the club on loan at several clubs.

He joined Belgian side Mouscron in January, where he scored 11 goals and claimed three assists in 16 appearances.

CSKA are now keen on the Nigerian forward with Liverpool demanding £15m for the 21-year-old.

Awoniyi joined Liverpool in August 2015 and signed an improved five-year contract last summer.

However he has been hit with work permit issues leaving the Reds in a position where he could be sold.

Fans have been reacting to the latest reports - and it appears the £15m valuation has caught their eye with praise for the Reds transfer chief Michael Edwards.
