Liverpool fans send message after shock Trent Alexander-Arnold 'snub'

Trent Alexander-Arnold is back to his best.

The Liverpool right-back shone once again as the Reds defeat West Brom on Sunday to keep their top four hopes alive, setting up Alisson Becker's shock stoppage-time winner just days after an equally outstanding showing against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Since being dropped by England for the March international break, the 22-year-old has scored once and claimed four assists as Jurgen Klopp 's side put together an eight-match unbeaten run to reignite their Champions League push.

Such form saw the full-back nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for April, while he won Liverpool's own monthly accolade as a result too.

But despite such impressive showings, England manager Gareth Southgate reportedly remains unconvinced.

Despite being present at many of Alexander-Arnold's recent outings, the Athletic are reporting he is still intending to leave the Liverpool star out of his squad for EURO 2020 this summer.

With managers allowed to name an expanded 26-man squad for the tournament, such an omission would be even more baffling with fans and pundits alike adamant Alexander-Arnold should be included.

And following the report on Monday morning, Liverpool supporters took to Twitter to share their bewilderment.
