Harry Wilson is on the brink of completing a £12million switch to Fulham and Liverpool fans are impressed with the fee.
As the ECHO reported on Saturday lunchtime, the Wales international has left the Reds’ pre-season camp in Austria in order to join the Championship side.
The 24-year-old has been with Liverpool since 2005 and was promoted to the first-team squad a decade later. However, in the six years since, Wilson has made just two appearances and been sent out on loan five times.
Last season, the Wrexham-born winger scored seven times in 37 games for Cardiff and will now drop back down to the second tier in a permanent deal with Fulham.
While Liverpool fans wish him well, they took to social media to share the delight at the £12m fee.
Wilson will join Marko Grujic, Taiwo Awoniyi, Liam Millar and Kamil Grabara in leaving Anfield this summer. The combined fees Liverpool have made from five players who weren’t close to the first-team has virtually paid for the signing of £36m defender Ibrahima Konate.

The sale will take Liverpool 's earnings from outgoings up to around £30m as the club try to balance the books ahead of a delve into the market.
