Liverpool fans return to the Kop as ticket details for Wolves released

Liverpool fans will be back on the Kop for the first time in 271 days on Sunday with the Reds releasing ticket details for their Premier League home match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The last game to date in front of fans at Anfield came on March 11 when the then Champions League holders were knocked out of the competition by Atletico Madrid.

A coronavirus -induced hiatus of over three months then ensued before Project Restart saw fixtures resumed behind closed doors and no fans were present at Anfield in July when Liverpool were handed the Premier League trophy as the club celebrated their first title in 30 years.

Back in the autumn, English football clubs were preparing to welcome back a limited number of spectators into their stadia on matchdays but the plans were put on hold due to a second national lockdown which finished on Wednesday after four weeks.

With all areas of Merseyside currently in Tier 2, Liverpool and neighbours Everton are two of the 10 Premier League clubs are now allowed to let in 2,000 fans for home games.

As a result, Liverpool have released ticket details for their fixture with Wolves which kicks off at 7:15pm on Sunday with fans sitting in both the Main Stand and the Kop.

Supporters are asked to note that tickets are only available to those who were successful in the ballot.

There is only a 17-hour window to buy tickets which can be purchased online from 3pm GMT on Wednesday December 2 until 8am on Thursday December 3.

If you are a disabled supporter and require assistance, please contact the disability team on 0151 264 2500, option 1.

Tickets for this sale are guaranteed and supporters can purchase one ticket per qualifying supporter up to a maximum of four per transaction. Please be aware that you may have to queue at times.

General admission seating for this match will be in the Main Stand and Kop. Wheelchair bays and personal assistant seats will be in the Main Stand only.

In line with social distancing measures, all seats will be available to purchase as single seats only to minimise the risk to public health and fellow supporters.

Please ensure that when you select your seats, you choose the seats as near as possible to each other.

Prices are as follows: Adult - £44.92; Young Adult - £22.46; Over 65 - £33.69; Junior - £8.80; Adult Disabled - £33.69; Young Adult Disabled - £16.84; Over 65 Disabled - £25.27; Junior Disabled - £6.71.

If tickets remain, they will be made available to supporters on the waiting list.

Supporters can click here to book their tickets online during the allotted time period.

Disabled supporters will be contacted directly.

Further sales information and waiting list positions will be available by clicking here from 11am on Thursday December 3.
