Liverpool fans react to all English tie as Tottenham reach Champions League final

Liverpool will meet Tottenham Hotspur in the final of the Champions League on June 1 in Madrid and fans have reacted to the fact that they will face the fellow Premier League side next month.

The Reds progressed through to the final thanks to an astonishing 4-0 second-leg victory over Barcelona in the semi-finals at Anfield as Liverpool overturned a 3-0 first-leg deficit thanks to braces from Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum.

Fast-forward 24 hours and it was fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur's chance to provide a comeback of their own and they did just that in incredible fashion.

Ajax led 1-0 from the first leg and took a 3-0 lead on aggregate after goals from Matthijs de Ligt and Hakim Ziyech, only for Spurs to level on the night following a quickfire brace from Lucas Moura.

Tears, shock and celebrations - Xherdan Shaqiri lifts the lid on what really happened inside Liverpool's dressing room

Spurs looked out of it late on but somehow scored the equalising goal on aggregate to win on away goals when Moura bagged his hat-trick, with the Reds' fans reacting on Twitter on Wednesday evening and talking about how difficult it will be to win the competition for the sixth time.
