Liverpool fans rave about Harvey Elliott's performance against MK Dons

Liverpool fans have been left impressed with the debut of Harvey Elliott.

Elliott, who joined the Reds during the summer transfer window from Fulham, became the second youngest player in Liverpool's history when he started on the right of a front three, with only Jerome Sinclair at 16 years and six days, younger than the former Fulham starlet.

The youngest is also the youngest player to play in the EFL Cup, aged 15 years and 174 days and became the youngest debutant in Premier League history when he featured against Wolverhampton Wanderers – aged 16 years and 30 days – in May

The Reds ran out 2-0 winners at Stadium MK with goals from James Milner and Ki-Jana Hoever securing their passage into the fourth round.

But despite failing to get his name on the scoresheet, Elliott twice rattled the woodwork in either half, and Liverpool fans reacting to the 16-year-old's performance on Twitter were left more than impressed.
