Liverpool fans raise Fabinho injury concern after training pictures emerge before Spurs

Liverpool fans have raised concern over a possible new absentee ahead of the crunch clash against Spurs this evening.

Pictures and videos have circulated on social media showing the Reds training at Leyton Orient's ground earlier today.

But eagle-eyed supporters have flagged that Fabinho appears to be missing from those taking part.

And the person who seemingly took the photos said: "Sorry all, not sure I did see Fabinho out there so can’t confirm, but I didn’t watch the whole training session."

The Brazilian midfielder has been filling in at centre-back for much of this season so far in the absence of Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez.

And any setback for Fabinho would leave Jurgen Klopp's defensive options even more depleted.

The 27-year-old posted a pre-match video graphic on his Instagram story last night, but it remains to be seen whether any issues have arisen on the injury front.

Liverpool have declined to comment on the speculation, which comes just hours before this evening's 8pm kick off in London.

However, Klopp is likely to be handed a double boost ahead of the match.

The boss confirmed yesterday that Jordan Henderson and Joel Matip are back in contention.

Klopp said: "No new [injuries]. Hendo and Joel trained [on Tuesday] with the team fully. Like always we have to wait and see overnight but they trained."
