Liverpool fans notice what Andy Robertson did when Mason Greenwood scored for Manchester United

Liverpool fans have been noticing what Andy Robertson did in the first half of their FA Cup clash against Manchester United.

Jurgen Klopp naming a relatively strong side for the trip to Old Trafford, but, despite a much-improved performance, the Reds exited the competition after falling to a 3-2 defeat.

Klopp’s side took the lead early on the game through Mohamed Salah, before Mason Greenwood soon equalised for the hosts as the tie went into the half time break all-square.

In the build-up to Greenwood’s goal, Robertson can be seen shouting at Greenwood in an attempt to distract him before taking his shot, which ultimately did not work.

Liverpool fans noticed what Robertson did and took to social media to give their thoughts and opinions, here is a selection of what they had to say.

Mick Moran: “Big fan of Robbo trying to use the old school ‘scream when they shoot’ tactic. It works more than it doesn’t so keep it up, la.”

Tommy: “I love Robbo so much.”

Empire of the Kop: “Can imagine this would be rather annoying if it happened to us, but it made us chuckle.”

Mill: “Robbo screaming at Greenwood to try and put him off was funny tho.”

Ynwaliverpool: “Did Robertson think screaming will prevent Greenwood from scoring? How about defending instead?”
