Liverpool fans have responded in their numbers to a social media post from Ibrahima Konate.
The RB Leipzig defender continues to be linked with a move to Anfield, with speculation expected to ramp up now the domestic seasons across Europe has come to an end.
The ECHO understands that Konate is on a four or five-man shortlist of centre-backs that the Reds are looking at this summer.
Ozan Kabak is included on that shortlist, but it is believed that Konate is the frontrunner at this point .
Last week, Konate caught the attention of Liverpool fans when he changed the wording of his Instagram biography.
Now the 21-year-old has made a new post sending a message thanking fans for their support this season.
“Another season done! Second place and runners up in the cup final,” wrote Konate.
“We didn’t reach our objective of winning a trophy this season but overall we take the positives and look forward to next season.
“Thank you for your support!”
Liverpool fans saw this and immediately responded with predictable replies about him potentially moving to Anfield.
