Liverpool fans are calling on Jurgen Klopp to sign Kylian Mbappe this summer amid claims the forward wants out at Paris Saint-Germain.
Reports from Spain say the France World Cup winner is looking for a new challenge amid Real Madrid and Liverpool's transfer interest in him.
The 20-year-old forward joined Paris Saint-Germain from Monaco back in 2018, shortly after Neymar signed from Barcelona for a world-record £198million transfer fee.
Mbappe has another three years left on his current contract, which runs until 2022, and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is very confident of keeping hold of the Frenchman.
But Spanish publication Marca is reporting that Mbappe has made it clear he has no intention of renewing his contract beyond this date.
His alleged refusal to agree new terms puts PSG in a difficult situation.
Mbappe's valuation will continue to drop each summer until 2021, when he will then be allowed to leave the club on a free.
PSG will ideally want to recoup as much money as possible for the Frenchman, meaning selling this summer could be the best option for the club.
Reacting to the developing story on social media, Liverpool fans have called for Klopp to strike while the iron is hot and sign the forward.
"Mbappe to Liverpool confirmed," tweeted one Liverpool fan, while another added: "Announce Mbappe to Liverpool."
A third said: "Sign Mbappe John W Henry for Liverpool. We will rule for the next decade."
