Liverpool fans make incredible journey spanning nine countries to celebrate Champions League win

Earlier this month Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool were crowned Champions League winners in Madrid.

Fans all over are still feeling jubilant about that euphoric night in Spain as the Reds' claimed their sixth title.

And a set of supporters in Africa have made an epic journey to celebrate Liverpool's European glory.

The group of African fans made a victory parade of their own along a route which spanned an unbelievable nine countries.

According to Nik Postinger on Twitter the remarkable journey saw the supporters drive from Tunisia all the way to the tip of South Africa.

A route which saw the fans wearing Liverpool shirts parade a replica trophy through countries such as Mali, Nigeria and Cameroon.

A truly mammoth effort from the supporters in order to celebrate the Reds' success.

Journalist Michael Oti Adjei replied: "The love for LFC on the continent is huge."

The Africa Cup of Nations, which is being hosted in Egpyt, will kick off this Friday.
