Liverpool fans make Fabinho prediction after tough tackle on Luis Suarez

Fabinho was booked just eleven minutes into Liverpool's Champions League semi-final clash with Barcelona on Tuesday.

The Brazilian slid in hard on former Reds forward Luis Suarez, who made the most of the challenge by rolling around on the ground.

Fabinho was adamant that he got the ball before the man, and gestured to referee Cuneyt Cakir with his hands.

But the match official showed Fabinho the game's first yellow card, which prompted a furious reaction from the former Monaco man.

Standing over the Uruguay international, the Brazilian star shouted at him as he attempted to get back to his feet.

Both Cakir and Fabinho's Liverpool team-mates calmed the midfielder down, but Reds fans immediately took to Twitter to make a bold prediction.

"Suarez is winding up Fabinho perfectly right now. If he's not careful he will get himself sent off," tweeted one.

And a third wrote: "Fabinho is getting sent off soon... watch Suarez do him."

Suarez is known for getting under the skin of opponents, and clashed with a handful of Liverpool players in the first leg of the semi-final.

He was even involved with a heated confrontation with Reds left-back Andy Robertson in the Nou Camp tunnel.
